About the event
Wolverhampton glass artist Suzie from Suzie Lavender Contemporary Glass will be at The Codsall Hive teaching a relaxed evening session of fused glass making techniques. These workshops are suitable for beginners or as a refresher course.
Sailboats Workshop – A fun fused glass workshop for you to create a unique and beautiful 2D glass sail using glass pieces, glass frits, powders and accessories. During the workshop you will learn about glass fusing techniques and be introduced to the materials and tools. Each participant will be able to choose from the selection of glass accessories to create a their sail in a colour scheme and shape of their choice. The Sails will be fired by Suzie and mounted in a wooden boat shaped base following the workshop.
Participants who are regular attendees of Suzie’s workshops are welcome to make different projects to save repetition if they contact Suzie in advance.
