Fused Glass Lanterns

Wolverhampton glass artist Suzie from Suzie Lavender Contemporary Glass will be at The Codsall Hive teaching a relaxed evening session of fused glass making techniques. These workshops are suitable for beginners or as a refresher course.

Seasonal Lanterns – Create your own panels for a seasonal lantern, think Winter trees, Snow scenes or any festive design! In this workshop you will learn some basic glass fusing, cutting and layering techniques with coloured glass. Participants will be introduced a selection of materials, paints and tools. All participants will make and decorate glass panels to fit an Ikea lantern (provided) in colours of your choice. You will take your blank lantern home on the day and will then collect your finished panels two weeks later from Codsall Hive and you will be able to fit them into your lantern at home yourself....Just in time to decorate your festive dinner table!
